What is a 1-Day Pass?
With an IC card, you can freely use CLEW’s electric bicycles all day long.
You can rent a bicycle from one of the 300 ports available throughout Kyoto City, starting from the nearest port to you.
You can also switch to another CLEW bicycle during your ride.
Feel free to use it for your weekend outings or sightseeing trips!
How to Use
1. Please purchase an IC card at a location where they are sold.
Please purchase an IC card at a location where CLEW IC cards are sold. When making your purchase, you will need to enter your name and contact information in the application form.
Please note that payment methods may vary depending on the sales location, so kindly check with the staff at the point of purchase.
*If you are using an IC card as part of a CLEW 1-Day Pass Tour, you do not need to fill out the form.
2. Please unlock the bicycle.
After pressing the start button on the bicycle itself, hold your IC card over the sensor, and the lock will open, allowing you to use the bicycle.
You can use the bicycle until 11:59 PM on the day the lock is opened.
For those using the 2-DAY Pass, you can use the bicycle until 11:59 PM the following day.
3. When temporarily parking or returning the bicycle, please lock it after parking.
When temporarily parking the bicycle, please make sure to park it in a designated bicycle parking space and lock it.
To unlock the bicycle again, follow the same procedure as described in step ②.
When returning the bicycle to a port, lock the bike, confirm that the blue light is blinking, and then press the return button. Please make sure to return the bicycle to a nearby port by 11:59 PM after use.
